Anew Garden Art Show

For the whole month of April, the halls were decked at the McGuffey Art Center with brightly colored portraits of all things budding and blooming. The occasion was the Anew Garden Art Show, a garden inspired collaborative art show put on by CSG supporter and Jackson-Via Elementary School teacher, Susan Northington.

With paintings, drawings, and photography of a mixture of different media, the show was absolutely stunning and left all those lucky enough to enjoy the exhibit with a sense of hope and new growth.

All of the artists entrance fees from the exhibit were donated to support City Schoolyard Garden and further donations were collected throughout the entire month of April while the exhibit was up.

We are so thankful to Susan for organizing the show, to all of the gracious and talented artists who participated in the exhibit, to McGuffey for hosting the exhibit, and to anyone who went to see the exhibit and donated to CSG. Thank you all!
